I know it is early but it seems like these two may be a really good pick up. And I don't won't to toot my own horn but I was the first to say that Tmac was exactly what we needed coming off the bench. I said that Tayshawn Prince would be nice as well as Kwame Brown. And even though I was laughed at by many I stuck to my guns.
I had the biggest debate with Ruhiel. with him saying that they are two old and we need youth. I believe he was in love with Donatas Motiejunas and Thabeet. I bet these two won't even play more than 10 minutes a game. Thabeet may even get cut from the team at some point this season.
Man Vladimir has some major skills. and Tracy McGrady is well, T-MAC!!!! But I still feel we need to Trade Horford for a big that can score in the post. Horford and Kirk for Gasol and LAL first; Horford, Kirk, and ATL first for Howard and Nelson; or Marvin Willams and a 2nd for Bogut.

yeah tmac was a steal , i just hope he and rad can stay healthy . last night the hawks bench scored over 50 points , that takes some of the sting out of losing crawford .

Whoa... calm down myrak433. Other ways to gain credibility than attacking me?
I believe Troy Murphy signed with Lakers and Kwame Brown signed with whom?
Hawks have played the Nets and Wizards 2 non-contenders.
The original trade was Thabeet, Jordan Hill and Rockets picks iirc.
Then it was Jordan Hill, Thabeet's expiring and the shooter Motiejunas.
Now I like Leuer who has good tools to be better in some areas than Motiejunas. I said David Lee, Kaman, etc had similar physical tools. And he's delivering.
Marvin Willams and a 2nd for Bogut... That's silly.
My current offer to the Hawks FO is that Horford and a 2nd for Leuer and Bogut?
We beat the Nets and the Wizards 2 games into the season.
As for Vlad and T-Mac, I did not see them signing here. But I doubt this works out into a title.
How about when we win a championship or the conference without a big trade (Horford is our best chip) then you can gloat.
That would require lots of injuries from other teams.

I am not attacking you at all. I just simply said I had lots of debates with you about bring in vets like T-mac and Kwame Brown to back up out starters vs. trading any of our three or four main guys for a youth movement i.e. Thabeet, Jordan Hill, Motiejunas, and/or a picks.
I still stand by what I have been saying unless we are getting Dwight Howard or another superstar we can not move Horford and Smith. And Horford is worth more than Bogut, not because he is better than him. but Bogut is injury prone. So why would we give Horford and a first for him?

1) I believe you wanted Marvin benched and to start a big perimeter guy in Troy Murphy.
2) Oden's injury prone. Bogut is not. He is/was recovering from an injury. Bogut is a defensive anchor that you love to put next to PF like Horford/Smith.
3) Bogut's problems: A) he gets run down from playing to many minutes. B) he can't carry a team to playoffs by himself. C) he has know backup center and risks being run down.
4) On a better team, ie the Hawks, he would not have to play as much minutes. See last night the Hawks won by 20 and Horford and Smith played only 20 minutes. And put up 10 and 10. And won by 20.
These games where opposing teams shoot themselves out of games don't mean anything as opposed to the Heat and Bulls who are better than the Wizards.
Yeah Horford can do that against the slower dumber Wizards but what about CHI and MIA. Thats when people start crying about finding a "real" center.
5) The trade proposal that I think Horford can get done is Horford and "A" pick for Bogut and 2011 2nd rounder, Jon Leuer.
IE a protected 1st or a 2nd rounder. I did not specifically say first round pick, now did I?
Bogut Leuer Smith Joe Jeff, and the bench would now be very malleable have Marvin, and short contracts like T-Mac, Rad etc. Still want Al Thornton.

Re: T-Mac and Radmanovic
Ruhiel....... you got me. I see that you did say a 2nd round pick and Horford for Bogut..... I like that trade. and yes I did say Marvin would have been best coming off the bench and starting Smoove at the 3 and Horford at the 4, if we had a true starting calibre 5. but Marvin seems to ready to prove himself...... I just hope he isn't playing some kind of joke on us and he continues to play aggressive, hell he is playing like a PF. Maybe we can ship Horford off and start Marvin at the 4
Teague/ Kirk when he gets back
JJ/ TMac
Smoove/ Tmac
Marvin/ Vlad Rad
Bogut/ Zaza
Green
I. Johnson
Collins
Stackhouse
maybe bring back Benson or keep Pargo
I like it.

Re: T-Mac and Radmanovic
lets see what Marvin does against other PFs. Rashard Lewis and Damien James are more of SFs.
I doubt he can defend Bosh or Boozer. Marvin cant create for himself and its a problem.
Again The trade is: Andrew Bogut AND Jon Leuer for Horford and a pick.
I have not watched the games but I remember Marvin at PF (small lineup) last year and he could not capitalize against Brandon Bass. Average speed and too uncoordinate/underskilled.
We'll see what he does against the Heat but I don't see how you label play him a PF. A 7 footer like Leuer can play face up and shoot over Lebron. Or stand outside and take some "dribble-jumpers".
I'll be watching the Heat - Hawks on Jan 1. very closely!
Go Hawks!
