He doesn't do the same thing every year? He's an old school player who doesn't feel the need for some mediocre point guard to violate a hall of famer, regardless of the dunk (which is pretty sick). It didn't matter though cause it got him mad & he went off.

The scream is fine.. everyone does it, just don't act like you're gonna attack him like a gorilla by screaming & flexing and looking at him like he's prime ribs. Dunk yell get the crowd hyped & go back play defense.

Or do you just want to protect a has-been who is now nothing but a journeyman, needing to criticize others so he can pretend to still be special? What Garnett did was petty and jealous.
& how dare youuuuu. A JOURNEY MAN?! Dude had to be told by the gm that he's not in the plans for the future, & still didn't wanna leave a bad franchise which he gave everything too. 2 teams in 16 years?! He's been killing this year, not what he once was but still better then JEFF TEAGUE. Come on KG we all know isn't the cleanest player in the league, but he respects it & he's old school & gave everything he had to the NBA. People should respect him more, because he's unlike anyone else.

Everyone screams after the dunk & get the attention. He's the one barking while playing defense & pressing people full court jawing at them like in the 90's. Not this new age sh*t.

Are you sure you have seen the video? Teague did not flex after the dunk. In order for Teague to have yelled at the crowd he would have had to run along the baseline. He dunked then yelled. Ray just happened to be right there when Teague dunked then got the ball right away.

Why should people respect KG more? You respect players who got about their game and don't call much attention to themselves. KG will never be respected in Atlanta after what he did to Zaza. He lowered his shoulder to ram Zaza in the neck/head on a pick, then complained to the ref that all he did was set a legal pick. Sorry but you don't get respect after pulling that crap.

Okay but that's old school playoff dirty basketball. Even last year Pietrus & Garnett were jawing at each other going at it, but they're teammates now. You're right Teague didn't flex but still he starred at him & screamed. It was intentional who cares really cause everyone does it today. Just saying i'm not into it you know?

& Okay but Zaza is a hack & a flop too. I mean Boston got their flops, but those always get under people skins. KG's old school so he let Zaza know. I guess he doesn't have to be respected but he shouldn't be hated & be called the names that people call him.

He does what it takes to win on the court, but he's truthful off the court.

You don't cheap shot a player like that when he isn't looking. KG could have easily put his life in danger with a lowered shoulder and elbow to the neck/head like that. That's not old school, that's called being a cheap, dirty player. He will be called those names as long as he does it. The league changes, you change with the times. Just like in the nfl with the new hitting regulations, you either change or get punished and called a dirty player (ala Harrison).

Old school is not being a coward.

KG lowered his shoulder because he saw Doc was about to pull him from the game. He committed the dirty foul and headed for his bench because, simply, he is all bark and no bite.

Bill Lambieer would grab you by your neck on a layup IN THE THIRD QUARTER and stay there and wait for you to do something. Seeing your sub at the table and taking a cheap shot in a blow out is not "old school". Its cowardly.

Then when MJ dunks over him, he holds a grudge for 20 years :)
