Joe Johnson or Josh Smith?

Both currently average 18.9ppg.

Joe: He's our team's scorer and our go to guy when we need a bucket, Josh is there as our 2nd option and for rebounds and Defense

The guy who can take 19 shots without a second thought is more likely to do so over the guy who can't decide if he should take his 13th shot.

Josh definitely gets them up there. He has been our best player this year but I am not in love with his play offensively. I really think that when Al comes back if Josh continues shooting as many jumpers as he now does people are going to be really upset. To make a long story short I think he has been getting away with bad habits because it is working to a certain extinct and that we don't have many other options.

In the past 19 games, since Joe returned from injury, Josh Smith has led the team in shots 13 times.

Joe's led the team in scoring and assists every season since he came to Atlanta. Looks like BOTH of those streaks will be coming to an end this year.

He's still our most important player, though. For now.
