It was one of the few games they should come in with a contender mentality, and what are they doing ? loosing against a team that has now interest at winning.

don't blame - Kirk Hinrich-Jason Collins (spoilers, over the hill scrubs who don't count as part of the "team")

blame - Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Jeff Teague

Back to back against Toronto.

Hawks are favored to win today by 5.5, yesterday by 9.5.

LMAO, at a garbage butt perennial loser talking chit after a win. You prove year in and year out that your team is trash. We prove a couple times a year that we can be trash. Can be and without a doubt is just aren't the same.

wow what a collection of fanbases.

The only scenario in which this thread can be redeemed is by the dark comedy of the Hawks losing back to back.

Willie Green did not make the trip with the team because his 'missus is expecting. Hope Stack didn't waste all of his WD40 last night although a return to "T-Dot" might force T-Mac out of retirement.

Maybe the Raptors have learned that this whole international team idea they got is just not working. Take Bargnani, Calderon, Barbosa out and suddenly you have a team that at least seems to care. I hope they get competitive soon.
GO HAWKS.

Since the team is located in Canada, the entire roster by definition is "international", except Jamaal Magloire.

Ivan and Jeffrey on that foreign Red Bull. I don't think American Red Bull has that high of caffeine content.

Needed win but it means nothing if we lose to Detroit on Hump Day. I told you Teague can dominate these level teams that is why it was his fault we lost yesterday.

It was nice to see Tracy McGrady get some time on the court and be productive. I expect him to play more during the playoffs.

With the L on first game, ATL has the same record than BOS and ORL now.
We have the tie-breaker on ORL in all cases (tie at three with BOS, or simply with ORL).
With BOS, we won't have the tie-breaker if tied with BOS only and have very few chances to win it in a three teams tie with ORL.
So let's win it all, and we are ahead of BOS.

We don't know if it's the international team idea that is not working, it's not working with these players, that's all we know.

Just looking at Eff : OK, it's just one stat line, but the best players of TOR are Calderon and Bargnani. Problem, they are only 55th and 57th.
Ahead of them, you can find Marc and Pau Gasol, Gortat, Varejao, Parker, Noah, Ilyasova or Nene. And on the same level of Eff than Calderon and Bargnani, there are Bogut, Ibaka, Deng, Scola, Rubio, Pekovic, Ginobili, Galinari, Batum then... Zaza.

If you can pick some of these players to build a team, you can certainly buil a contender, but maybe not with Calderon and Bargnani as the best players.
ATL has Smith as 13th best players (then Horford at 45 and Johnson at an ugly 60th place if you think about his contract).
