If that list is true he's decided that the Pacers 2yr/10M offer (rumored) isn't enough. If it was actually 2 yr/5M I apologize and understand why he's reluctant to sign.

Jamal Crawford has played his last game with the Blazers according to beat writer Chris Haynes.

The likely landing spot is Minnesota, and we need to clarify an earlier blurb that said Crawford was a 'good fit' there. He's a 'decent fit,' but with J.J. Barea and defensive specialist Wes Johnson around, in addition to No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams, Martell Webster, and Wayne Ellington -- it's not like he's walking into a guaranteed 35-minute role. He might indeed get that, but he's not going to able to jack up shots at will and while he should be owned, expectations should be tempered if he lands in Minny. Michael Beasley is looking at low-end value in L.A. at best, and the best we can predict for Steve Blake is a timeshare in Portland. Source: Chris Haynes on Twitter / Rotoworld.com

Jamal Crawford Likely to Opt-Out

When Jamal Crawford signed with the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason, he was expecting to join one of the top teams in the Western Conference. The Blazers were coming off of a 48-win season and Crawford turned down larger offers from other teams because he wanted to join a contender.

This season, things haven’t gone quite as planned in Portland. The Blazers hold the fifth-worst record in the conference and have started to rebuild. They fired head coach Nate McMillan and traded away veterans such as Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby. Portland currently sits at 27-31 with little hope of making the playoffs.

“It’s frustrating, especially after the way we started the season,” Crawford told HOOPSWORLD. “We started 7-2 and we were one of the top seeds in the West a few weeks into the season. When you have that kind of success early, every loss after that is pretty dramatic. If we came into the season playing.500 basketball, it wouldn’t have been talked about as much. People would have said, ‘Oh, they lost Brandon [Roy], Greg [Oden] is hurt and they have a lot of new guys.’ But, with the way we started out, expectations were high. Playing .500 since then has been frustrating and that’s why all of the changes happened. Whenever you lose and fail to live up to expectations, anything can happen. We saw that at the trade deadline with a lot of players being dealt and then with Coach McMillan getting fired.” http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-pm-crawfo ... to-opt-out

What team do you think is a good fit for Jamal Crawford? Jason Terry will also be on the market and I think he'll receive a similar contract. It's going to be a harsh reality for Jason Terry.

Would Jamal Crawford take a pay cut and come back to the Hawks in 2013 to take Willie Green's spot?

Swap out Marvin with Jamal, and it would have really helped in that last minute of the game.

Jamal's only times in the playoffs were with the Hawks. I don't think the Hawks are the ones missing out here

Swap out Marvin for Jamal and either of Pierce and Allen would of gone for 35 and the last minute wouldn't have mattered.

People were talking about how good the Hawks were without Al but why no mention of Jamal? It is not without coincidence that once the team got rid of both him and Bibby we all of a sudden became a great defensive team.

God bless him but he's just not a winner, he had his career year 2 years ago for the Hawks but he simply couldn't sustain that production. It's also doubtful he opted out of 5 mil just to take a paycut and Jeffrey already has enough headaches getting the ball with Joe and Josh around, we'll go back to stunting his development with Jamal.
