I'm sorry but some of you are simply insane.

The Hawks won FORTY games and went 6 games with Boston while playing JASON COLLINS AND ERIK DAMPIER major minutes because of injury.

This year we lost our starting 2 guard for a stretch, our starting Center, his backup AND his backup, our back up 2 guard, our backup SF, our backup point guard (pargo) and the other started the season late coming off of surgery(Hinrich).

AND we still SHOULD have had a game 7 against Boston if not for a missed call that the NBA admitted they missed. AFTER not having our Allstar center for 3 of the games, missing Josh for one game and him being gimpy the rest of them.

So with ALL that you want to say a team that won 2 more games than us and beat a Dwight Howard less magic team(and STRUGGLED mind you) and Philly who STRUGGLED with the Derrick Roseless Bulls and barely made the playoffs have passed us in the East. Both teams not dealing with injury at all this year.

Injuries are part of basketball, but that doesn't mean they don't matter. IF Philly gives Boston a better series(and by the way, we played them the same through two games, only we had a major injury in game 2 and they didn't) still doesn't make them a better team than us.

I swear I have never heard of a group of fans saying that their team sucks because they weren't able to win more with their best players injured.

We CLEARLY have the 3rd best team in this conference. If we had signed more depth at the 4-5 instead of that glut at the 1-3 position we would have gone further. So you guys want to blow up the core of the team because our backups are as good as we needed...That makes no sense.
