I mean besides having a shot at getting possibly the next superstar player in the draft, what did charlotte legitimately offer?! Hopefully your answer is nothing, because just like HMMFL said, the Cats' are clueless. Hopefully Cho can build the team up.

We think different on some things and the same on some. I am with you on why would he even be interested in a rebuilding project like the Bobcats. On the other hand, he is not a young guy and I never saw him wanting to waste 5 years of the little coaching time he has left just getting a team to the playoffs. I always thought that a playoff caliber team without some crybaby star would be what he was looking for.

True he isn't young, but why would he consider Orlando as well? They are in worse shape than the Cats'. Howard is gone, they still have a bunch of money on the books, and they won't even have a top pick this year or next year if they keep Dwight. At least the Cats' are good on salary, have some good young prospects, including future ones, and have a good GM. All they need is a coach. If Sloan did take over, I wouldn't have been surprised if they were a borderline 7-8 seed in 2014-2015.
