Darko Why NOT?

Post#1 » by myrak433 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 5:15 am

Darko Milicic if we can get him cheap. why not? he is more skilled than Zaza. just does not have the heart that zaza has. if zaza had Darko Milicic skill set we wouldn't even want Dwight on this team. maybe he could help. just needs to rebound and score in the post on the offensive end.

Teague/ L-Williams
Harris/ L-Williams
Smoove/ ???Krover
Horford/ Ivan
Milicic/Zaza

with a big front court of Horford and Darko, and with Smoove playing the 3 I believe we would be ok with a small-ish back court. not a championship team but would keep us competitive this year. and we could still be in the Dwight and CP3 race next summer.

plus he can still do this:

and he can do this:

Honestly, any cheap 7'er that can log 15-20 mpg without embarrassing us or himself would be a welcome addition...

I dont think Darko wants to be in the NBA any more. Im sure he will listen to offeres, but i think his heart is overseas. I rather have Robin Lopez.

L2ms
He's a perpetual loser who regularly posts negative offensive win shares and neutralizes his own value with horrible true shooting.
I wonder if Thabeet on OKC logs more minutes than Milicic on a scrub team this year. I think Milicic is done.

But whatever. Ferry should have just got Ezeli imo. But then again the end game has been Dwight Howard all along.smh if he dont come.

Darko, Anthony Randolph, Keith Benson, Josh Childress, Stanley Robinson, Mike Scott, Elijah Millsap...... i'm okay with anybody for the 12th spot. everybody on the list is okay, but nobody really excites me either.

As a wolves fan watching darko "play" has made me rage at my TV more than Rubio going down with the ACL, more than Peck scares the rest of the league more than kevin loves beard makes him resemble a lumberjack... you want nothing to do with darko stay far far away.

You really don't want Darko. The minute something goes wrong his confidence is absolutely out the window. He only brings his A game once ever 15 to 20 games. When he is on though he looks like a world beater. He is a turnover machine, misses so many bunnys at the rim ( I have come to think of his shot as a half finger roll half hook shot hybrid piece of crap), commits a bunch of dumb fouls, and is a weak rebounder. He once got injured while only playing 1 second of defense ( his only playing time of the game) at the end of a game to block alley oop attempts.

Anyone that prevents Petro playing minutes is a good signing, I'd even sign Kevin Willis
