I love this, we've all called for Jenkins to get more minutes this season and it's finally gonna happen. I just gained some respect for Larry Drew

Time to move Morrow and/or Harris honestly.

I am more pro starting Jenkins and moving Lou back to the bench.

Jenkins is a special player who should have a long career in this league.

I read an article recently that questioned whether Jenkins has a future as a starter considering his lack of size, lack of ball-handling, lack of athleticism and defensive limitations.

What are you guys thoughts regarding that? Those statements overblown? Is his shooting prowess enough to overcome those deficiencies?

"lack of size"? He's 6'4.25" with a wingspan of 6'8.5". His size is fine.

"lack of ball-handling"? Well, he does look a bit clumsy right now (to me) but he handled the point at Vanderbilt.

"lack of athleticism"? Yeah, he's weak but he does have a vertical of 36.5.

"defensive limitations"? That's where hard work comes in. Anybody can play defense if he puts in enough effort.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
