Yeah, the majority of fans are happy with Ferry's decision of re-sign Smith or take the cap space.

The Hawks were not offered any expiring contract, rookie contracts, and draft picks, so no point in adding onto the cap when the Hawks can just walk away with even more cap space if Josh chooses not to accept the Hawks $15 million/per offer.

I don't know what you are talking about. only Beno Udrih has expiring contract that was offered and that only adds up to $7 million. Josh Smith has a contract of $13 million. If the Hawks accepted the trade, they would have had to add $6 million on the books, and that is way too much cap to take on, especially since Ferry has sent himself up perfectly for this coming summer to build the team that he wants.

it looks like you don't even know your own teams cap situation.

The Bucks' offer was trash, simply put; we have no need for role players and a mid to late first round pick in a bad draft and we have no interest in giving away Josh Smith to a rival in the east for cheap.
