Hawks v. Raps

Post#1 » by parson » Wed Apr 17, 2013 2:34 am

Just got home. Who watched? Did the kiddies shine?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

It...wasn't good.

Ivan did well.

Beyond that, think pre-season game.

Yikes. I saw the last 4 minutes and I got that idea. Valanciunas looked as if he wanted to fight.

It could have been a close game if not for a 3rd quarter that saw the raps hit multiple threes while covered with the shot clock running down. Even Amir Johnson got in on the action. But drew clearly wasn't trying to play his starters all night. Would have been a nice game to get so our playoff seeding wouldn't be a mystery but whatever.

And some of the guys are proving they're really ready to PLAY. Ivan really showed that he can impact many plays. Some guys are hitting shots. Plus I haven't seen the Raptors play this well in a while. what with them draining all these jumpshots from everywhere.

All in all, this game actually makes me more optimistic about how we'll fare in the playoffs.

I guess Drew doesn't care if the Hawks face the Nets or the Pacers.

I thought it would be much more entertaining to watch the Hawks vs Joe and division rivals Chicago vs Indy

but all in all, Nets or Pacers, its not really a big deal for me.
