Are you guys sure Indy just doesn't have a better roster?

Ferry just threw this team together comprising it of just expiring contracts. The lac of size, the lack of scorers, the lack of slashers, the lack of shot blockers.

Combined with missing ZAZA and Lou, I think their team is just put together better than ours.

Which is okay.

I hope Ferry realizes how important ZAZA is to us.

I wouldn't even be mad if Phillips Arena ends up being half empty as ever on Saturday, the way these guys are playing.

Sorry for the anger, this is hard to handle when we're getting killed by 20.

I think Indy does have a better roster, but Drew isn't putting the team in a position to win imo. As you pointed out, Ferry just threw this roster together. Next year is when he will start building his own foundation and building this team into a contender the best he can. We could really use a big time talent like Paul George, and the draft is the best way to find it.

Remember this when I'm arguing for big men in the draft and someone mentions a talented SF or SG.

But, no, they're not that much better. The fouls are obvious. The refs just won't call them.

Plus, as we have many times before, we've given up. Whether it's the players giving up on themselves or on the coach or on the talent level we have, they just don't believe.

We are really too small. We've starting a PF at Center, a SF wannabe at PF, a wing and 2 PGs. Unless that "big time talent" is an NFL tight end like LeBron James, we'd better get a Center.

Our size hasn't been the problem here. The problem is that our guys aren't allowed to be physical by the refs and we have no one to guard wing players.

our couches mind numbing substitution pattern isn't helping. No Tolliver, no Jones while the opposing SF is feasting.

our guys, again, when trying to show any aggressiveness defensively are getting whistled for fouls. Our guards are getting flattens going to the rim and nothing while if you breathe on Indiana inside its 2 shots.

don't get me started on the horrible T on Horford or harris(who had every right to get pissed) last night. I have no problem with any particular foul call or lack of call...its the lack of consistency that is killing

Drew chooses to play it that way. Petro has looked useful at times and yet Drew doesn't play him much. Dahntay Jones was brought in for perimeter D and hustle, but Drew still plays Teague and Harris together. We play so small because our HC is incompetent at coaching. With that said, we still have 2 first round picks. No need to waste both on centers. We can get a center with one and grab maybe the best SF or guard available with the other. I have expressed my interest in Archie Goodwin, but I'll take anyone that can give us a chance at a high quality player..

The reason Petro doesn't play is because Petro CAN'T play. He stinks.

I counted 4 times Josh Smith watched as the Indy guard drove the lane for a layup. No rotation, no help, just watched him go in for an uncontested layup.

I counted at least 4 boneheaded turnovers by teague in crucial moments (when we would cut the lead to 8 or 9).

MISSED FREE THROWS

Getting outhustled AGAIN by mediocre talent like Tyler Handjob

UNCONTESTED WIDE OPEN LOOKS for Indiana.

The play that kinda summed up the ENTIRE first two games for me, was the long court pass to end the quarter with what 1.6 seconds left? Baseball pass for a vicious dunk because of a missed /blown defensive assignment and just a lack of hustle.

No heart, no leadership, bad coaching.
