The Bobcats are shopping last year's 2nd overall pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Atlanta is one of the team's mentioned among teams that are interested.

Heck...yeah!!

MKG is a great secondary player on a competitive team. Not a player a bad team can build around.

I'd love to have Him and his awesome defense here. No more getting abused by the Paul George's of the world.

But, man. As much as I dislike our owners and past GMs, at least they're not as pitiful and inept as Michael Jeffrey Jordan. That dude is one of the worst basketball minds I've ever seen. Trading MKG after only 1 year...geesh.

It sure looks like the Hornets have judged that MKG's jumper is not going to come around. That's a reason we should be careful.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Good point. But if we can get him for only the 18th pick and a second rounder, we have to take a chance.

He's still so young, and a top PG can get him enough easy shots to keep him on the court.

Gerald Wallace managed a pretty solid career with hustle and effort as a SF.
Iggy has been a productive player while being limited offensively, also.

This Kid is a gamer and a champion. Even as a bench player, he'd be a valuable piece.

I would love to have MKG here. His defensive potential alone would be worth it. He's also a great, coachable kid that seems like he'd be perfect for our organization... But wasn't this rumor shot down shortly after being posted? Not quite sure... But I'm sure hoping that the "if there's smoke, there's fire" theory applies to this. Make it happen, DF!
