One note on Tyreke is that the offer NOP had on the table was 4 year and between $40-44M. Is Tyreke worth $10+M?

I don't really like him personally, but if we strike out with Howard, I would like to troll the RFA market for a young guy or two that we can either grow up or trade later when they're in their prime and a contract that is running out. Tyreke would fit that criteria as would a handful of other guys.

Wouldn't mind going after Iggy and Mayo if we can't get Reke. Wait for Gasol next year and make our run then..

My problem with OJ Mayo and Tyreke Evans is, if we're going to build a "Hawks' way" of playing, why go with undisciplined players?

Iguodala is, while older, a smarter and more coachable guy.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Fair enough. But at 23' with 3 coaches in his last 5 years, it's reasonable to expect that stability and player development could still help him find his niche n this league.

He posted career highs n Fg% this year n his first season at SG.

He could definitely match what Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams, Manu Ginobili have accomplished in recent years off the bench.

And at 6'6" he has the size/skills to play SF, SG, PG.

When's the last time we had a real, aggressive, skilled SF?

Including his ROY campaign when he avg 20/5/5.

It's also worth noting he shot career highs n FG% and had a career low in turnovers this season.

2009-10 ROY : -5.3pts per100 while other player with enough playing time are between +3 and -2
2010-11 : +1.7 while other main players are between +2.7 and -2.2
2011-12 : see previous post
2012-13 : -0.7 while other main players are +9.5 and -5.7
Not saw SAC enough to be sure, but I don't think Salmons, who has +9.5, was only playing in garbage time.

2010-11 is maybe the last year he played on team perspective, then wait to be an F.A., but there's too much things that make me not wanting this guy, like Ellis (and they are not star enough to sell tickets).

Last season, he shot for the first time more than 0.29 at 3pts (0.338)
Josh made 0.33 , 026 and 0.30 the last three season and lots of people are complaining, and now, we would add a SG that is not better at 3pts than our frustrating SF-PF...
