^fair enough, Pandakidd.
My issue is that we gave away assets over the last year in hopes of big free agent signings. Despite the fact that free agents do not come here.
We passed up interest in Josh trades, didn't fully pursue other top FAs on the first day of Free Agency. Now he walks for nothing.
These are all a part of Ferry's tenure here. Our leader led us down a path that had little to no chance at success.
He won't get a pass for attempting and failing.
Opportunity costs, my friend. We passed up numerous opportunities to pursue CP3. He didn't test free agency.
We passed up other opportunities to pursue Dwight, he didn't come.
HOU turned prospects and draft picks into Harden, and then used Harden to entice Dwight.
We aren't exactly better today than we were a year ago.
We aren't better today than we were two years ago.
His only real successes are trading JJ and Marvin for filler.
I'm still waiting for a move that actually improves us.
Even his coaching hire is a question mark.

Re: Dwight not coming to the Hwks
I agree on the latter.
Which is why I think we should have hired a big name coach. FA dont come here. Hiring a coach they want to play for, would have instantly changed that.
Ferry did have a 2-3 year window to turn things around. This season will determine whats coming next. When will the culture REALLY change.
