Heat Amnesty Miller

Should we try to sign him ?
Since he will still receive 13M over the next two years from MIA and already got a ring, he could be interested to join a team that is not necessary the best contender, but where he can play.

On the flip side, he had lots of injuries, and he had a negative impact in 201O-11 (-11.8pts per 100 possessions), a positive one in 2011-12 (+4.7) and again a negative impact last season (-6.3), but if we want to play like SAS, one more 3pts shooter can be great

I would rather sign Linas Kleiza. He has been waived as well.

No we have enough shooters IMO, and Miller would have to plain behind someone, hes too injury prone.

Why do we want Mike Miller, again?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Vets like Miller usually get scooped up by a contender or just retire.

I can't imagine he'd have any desire to come and play in the purgatory that is Atlanta Basketball.

I agree. But, How do you feel about Linas Kleiza? He is more than just a shooter. He is a scorer. And we don't have to many people that can create for themselves.

I will plead ignorance because im not familiar with him.

*looks up stats

Looks like a big SF, 6'8'' 240 lbs. Is he athletic? I think the main issues we will need is wings who can run and gun, and a big center to get the rebounds.

Right now we are still thin at C and SF. SO it would make sense to sign him if he is truly able to play SF.

He is a natural SF.
