aCtually not a bad thing as this will force Schroder into more PT...
Before this, it was Teague-Mack period.

We may go 1-1 regardless, as MIL is seriously tanking and the other game is OKC.

I got home and was able to see the 4th qtr on first row - it was on delay. Schröder looked extremely tentative, almost like he was running in molasses. Maybe he can get onto solid ground with some confidence.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

I've been hoping his time on the bench wouldn't hurt his confidence. Having him over thinking every pass or jumper before he makes it. Terrified that a turnover could result in a quick benching. This is a crucial time for Dennis. If he gets pulled quickly in favor of Lou or Shelvin at the Point, it could damage his psyche as well as his trade value.

I sure hope Bud's got the people skills to encourage Schroeder during this period of adjustment.

The Bench isn't hurting his confidence. IN the D-League, Schroder's A/TO was 1.8. IN the pros thus far, it's about 1.3. In the German league, his A/TO was 1.13. The point is, he is who we thought he was so far. It's up to him to change. When we first got Teague coming out of WFU, he was something like a 1.1 A/TO also. However, Teague took the benching, took the time to get better and did. The fact that we have recalled Cunningham may mean that we will see more of Lou than we see of Dennis but I hope Dennis can play himself into some minutes.
