Luol Deng

Post#1 » by stanley14 » Wed Feb 12, 2014 3:53 am

Hey guys, I'm not a Hawks fan, but I was wondering what you guys thought of Luol Deng. I think he would be a great fit for you guys. You could have DeMarre Carroll come off the bench and you could have a pretty great team. What do you think of going after him in free agency?

+1 - Deng would be a solid addition.

At some point, I hope we bridge the gap from "solid" to something more though. For instance, I wouldn't mind throwing max/near-max $$ at Lance Stephenson before switching gears and looking at the rest of the FA class.

I like what he can bring, but always thought he was a a bit overpaid, and I'm afraid he will ask a lot.

We have needs at Center and SG. Deng would be our Joe Johnson at SF.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
