I am absolutely speechless. Rockets came back from a 19 point deficit...WITHOUT James Harden :o

Josh had one of his patented "no,no,no!.....yes,yes,yes!" Games. He was feeling it so much that he was hitting stepback 3s off the dribble. Couple that with him putting the fear of God into Griffin on the defensive end and it's not hard to see where LA just had no chance.

Can people please stop bragging about how great the Bulls are each season? That game 6 performance was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. No Love, no Irving, and LeBron playing below par, yet they got spanked at home.

Well, Bulls are the quintessential regular season team. You know how with Woody's teams you knew they had the talent to win a lot of regular season games but come playoff time, where the talent gap was drastically narrowed if not exceeded, that they simply didn't have the strategy to win meaningfull games? Well with the Bulls, Thibs has them throw all of their intensity into the regular season, they then don't have an extra gear to push them in the playoffs and probably actually lost a few gears just out of exhaustion. Their front court looked like the walking dead.

Sure they've had the caveats of Rose was injured and probably now could say they just ran into Lebron too early but honestly, you do have to start questioning whether that ECF appearance many moons ago was just a fluke.

That Bulls offense is disgusting. They just take turns with ISO's for Rose and Butler and then you have Noah who is completely useless. Terrible spacing, playcalling, terrible everything.

We will give the Cavs a much tougher test if we can close the deal vs Washington.

Josh Smith and Corey Brewer were amazing.

Also amazing was watching James Harden nearly lose a game single handedly. He might as well had a Clippers uniform on last night.

Most overrated "superstar" in the game. He's not even a star.

Clippers/Rockets has to be one of the biggest choke jobs in NBA history, definitely recent history. You guys think the big 3 (Griffin, CP3, DJ) will be back next year?

Jeff Teague has been to more conference finals than Chris Paul.

Paul: Certainly (best pg in the league)
Blake: Probably (he took the next step to legit superstar)
Jordan: Unlikely (word is multiple teams will throw max money at him. Asik is a low cost alternative)

Harden vs Curry should be a fun WCF. Congrats to the beard. OKC practically gave him away and he's turned that HOU team into a legit contender in only a couple if years. Dude is easily the most hated on superstar in the game. MVP production and he's only 25. Wow!

Josh Smith gets past the 2nd Round the same year as Atlanta. Are we destined to face the AAU Atlanta Celtics in the Finals? (God, I hope not!!!)

Then there's THIS GUY. Ugh...

Lol...let's not get carried away just yet.

George Hill has been to more Conference Finals than both combined...

This playoffs has been a perfect illustration on why it was foolhardy for all those star players to keep stacking up out west.

Much easier road in the leastern conference.

It's like not putting up offensive numbers playing for mike dantoni. It's a YOU problem then.

I saw this over on a Pistons related article and was reminded of a conversation we had a few months back.

Q: Reggie Bullock looks like at least a rotation player. What happened in Phoenix? -- Joel, via Twitter

A: Granted, Bullock has been the pleasant surprise of preseason, but when you say "at least a rotation player," that implies someone who is guaranteed to make the 10-man playing group and potentially start. Bullock still is trying to work his way past Adonis Thomas for the last roster spot. He may have done it by giving the Pistons a nice dose of scoring punch in preseason, but Gigi Datome managed that much when he played here.

It's preseason and Bullock is getting opportunity, as opposed to Phoenix, when he had no opportunity after a midseason trade from the Clippers last January. He bounced back and forth between the Suns and the D-League and played 75 minutes in 11 games in Phoenix, which had no plans for him and included in a salary-dump trade.

On the upside, Bullock is only 23 and has improved every year he has played, both in North Carolina and his two years in the NBA. He played most of his first two seasons with the Clippers, where he had the opportunity to school in one of the NBA's most veteran-heavy systems. There could be some risk of giving up too quickly on a 6-foot-7 wing, on the cheap, with his pedigree.

I really liked Bullock coming out of college. (UNC I think) And he could still stall as a player, but his stay in PHX was not really indicative of his skills or potential.

Moving forward I think he'd do well as a 3 & D swingman here in our system.

Just someone to keep an eye on moving forward. 23 is really too young to give up on.
