If the Knicks don't get a top 4 pick. How about Toronto trades the Knicks' 2016 pick for Schroder.

Lowery's contract expires in 2017 and that is the same time Schroder's contract would kick in.

Their are only 4 guys in the 2016 draft that i like better than Schroder, everybody else are just average prospects, but could still give Atlanta enough talent and cap flexibility to make a Schroder trade appealing.

How about a 2 or 3 team trade that centered around Teague for Noah?

Before we acquired Tiago Splitter, this would have been a pretty solid direction to go. But with Millsap, Horford and Splitter locked up...our big man rotation is currently one of the best in the league.

Still, not a bad idea by any means. I just think we might aim to use one of our PGs as a means to shore up our lack of talent at the 2 or 3.

If we could get a Lottery pick for Schroeder...I'd think we'd HAVE to do it. Unless Bud and our GM are convinced Dennis will be a star and a pillar of this team for years to come, a lottery pick would be very difficult and too valuable to turn down.

^ Im kind of interested in Domantas Sabonis on a rookie contract, specially with Sap and Al going into their 30s. But ya, outside of Simmons, Brown, and Skal, the rest of the talent in 2016 look like the same level as Ekpe Udoh, Wesley Johnson, Evan Turner....

Dragan Bender and Caris LeVert would also be worth taking a look at if the Hawks can move up in the draft.
