Masai Ujiri possibly needed to overpay to sign talent. I know some Atlanta fans that continue to be upset that we let DeMarre Carroll go, but it was the right decision, and business is business. Extending Paul Millsap for more money and less years was wise by us and let's not forget that Al Horford is due an extension this off-season.

As for Carroll I was against even giving him money in the double digits, let alone $15 mil a year. I still hold firm that he was a product of Bud's system, and that's so far being validated this season.
