Tough one, couldn't have asked for to much better than that shot for Milsap. Why no Teague? I missed the memo.

Teague injured his ankle Friday against the Celtics. No word yet on how long he'll be out.
Dennis had nine assists with zero turnovers. He also ended with a +\- of +10...best of any player on either team.
How did he run the team? Solid, sharp passes? Strong defense? He's really matured in a very brief time. I hope he uses this time to solidify his capabilities as a starting PG.
Horford is killing me with all these 3-pt attempts. He put up twice as many attempts from deep as Korver...missing his first four shots. He shot 50% from inside the arc. Really wishing he'd play to his strengths.
Millsap carried us offensively today. Steady as ever. Good to see it from the highest paid player on the team.

Re: Jazz at Hawks
Actually didn't realize Blazemore went out with an injury also. Injuries are significant to any team but especially the Hawks who are a sum of their whole parts with the system they run. Not playing our best right now but 12 games in its nothing to be overtly concerned about.

Re: Jazz at Hawks
Bazemore sprained his ankle.
We almost made a great 2 min comeback. Al hit back to back 3s, and we clamped down defensively. Paul Millsap was so open on that last shot but I won't fault him for the L, without him we aren't close.
That Jazz team looks good. You can really see the implementation of our system with them through Quin Snyder. Coach Snyder has done a fantastic job.

Re: Jazz at Hawks
I finally broke down and got a myajc account. here's a few of their thoughts regarding the jazz game:
HEREReport card
Offense: C
The Hawks shot 48.7 percent from the field, which is not bad, but they went through lapses were they settled for too many jump shots. Three of their first four shots of the game were 3-pointers and all missed. The offensive ball movement is simply not where it was last season. Getting back to the crisp passing and cuts to the basket should be a priority.
Defense: C-minus
There have been defensive lapses this year – and they have proved costly. The Hawks allowed 27 first- and third-quarter points. Those issues have led to opponents getting leads the Hawks have not overcome. Much of the woes have to do with poor defensive rebounding. The Jazz had 10 offensive rebounds and 11 second-chance points. The Hawks allowed the Jazz a season-best 51.3 percent shooting night.

Re: Jazz at Hawks
Defense is lackluster to start the season, so inconsistent.
Al needs to stop shooting so many 3s
Rebounding effort once again from our bigs was non-existant. Dennis had 6 rebounds, Al had 5, smh.
No free throws for Al once again, 3rd straight game and counting. I'm not liking this new Al.
When Dennis plays with the starters he's more of a facilitator, from the bench he's the best players and he has to score so his role is different.

Re: Jazz at Hawks
We should also take into account that Rudy Gobert is maybe the best rim protector in the NBA, and Dennis realized early on that he couldn't just do what he normally does (get to the rim and finish) with Gobert's there. Maybe that's why he fell into more of a facilitating role.
