Hawks @ Wolves

Hawks do have a game tonight. Down 5 to the T-Wolves in the 2nd quarter. This game is massively important for us. With the tough stretch coming up, we need to win this.

Only 5 assists for the Hawks in the first half. That could be a low in the coach Budenholzer era.

Close game as expected since we're coming off a back to back.

Hawks just don't know how to finish games this year. 7 losses. 4 of those are to teams that missed the playoffs last year, anther was to the 8th seed Nets who look TERRIBLE this year, and then another to the Celtics who were 7th.

November featured a very good schedule for us, and we sh*t the bed. Wouldn't be surprised at all if we lost the next 4 to drop below .500.

Yeah, we are definitely struggling right now.

And we've already seen our depth tested at the 1, 2 and 3...

This season has been a real challenge for Bud thus far.

They're missing Bazemore's athleticism on both sides of the ball right now. Splitter would have been huge tonight and the back to back also hurt us but overall they did look sluggish and the chemistry with this particular squad is lagging right now. Very unbalanced offensive scheme shooting 32 3's. This team looks more like the Hawks team in Bud's 1st year.

Key phrase for this game..... 3pt shooting

In the 90s i would have said that you can't win with jump shots, but now a days, a team really has to learn to be a good 3pt shooting team to win a championship.

with the old rule, if you are not making 3s, i would have said, stop taking 3s, but with zone, you just have to step up and make yourself prolific at making 3s.

Bench gave the team absolutely less than nothing on a back to back where the starters couldn't be ridden any harder. Dennis has regressed to rookie year terribleness over the past week. The Boston 4th quarter where he managed to just not **** up for 3 straight possessions is looking like manna.

Its too bad that Levine is showing signs of becoming a solid point. While he looked like crap during his transition last year I saw signs. He was kina the guy I would love to target as a trade partner for Schroder(Langston Gallaway being another.) Teague seems to have gotten his crap together during is injury...Schroder is just looking terrible.

We have to get something out of the bench and i just feel like he is killing the offensive flow of he second unit.
