Standing ovations when Teague returns to Atlanta in a Pacers' uniform
I'll be booing my ass off when Horford comes back to Atlanta

Re: Teague spoke as really wanting the trade
Listening to conversation during SL games, sounded like Al got his feelings hurt because he wasn't priority 1-A.
Sorry, Al, you've been paid very well for what you've done for Hawks' fans. Its the Hawks' fans that should demand better and make us a contending team. We will be fine without him.

Re: Teague spoke as really wanting the trade
Basketball Insiders recently talked with Teague to discuss his homecoming, excitement about joining the Pacers, departure from the Hawks, expectations for the 2016-17 season and much more in this exclusive interview. Here
BASKETBALL INSIDERS: You did a good job helping Dennis Schroder develop in Atlanta and you were professional about splitting minutes. But there were times you weren’t on the court when I’m sure you wanted to be and that’s a tough situation for any player. Is there part of you that feels like you can be unleashed again and not have to look over your shoulder at all?
Jeff Teague wrote:Man, it’s really good to be home. Like you said, there were a lot of rumors about me going different places. Me and the Hawks talked a bit and we agreed to try to help each other facilitate a nice deal.
I was actually in Indiana. I got the call from Coach Bud...when he told me, I got off the phone and told my brother and we kind of looked at each other. Then, we just got hyped; we started laughing and cheering and stuff. It was good news
I’ll remember all of the fun times and all of the great teammates and coaches I had. In Atlanta, I learned so much, especially from Mike Bibby and those guys early on. Those guys had a huge influence on my career, teaching me how to work and how to be a pro.

Jeff Teague wrote:Yeah, but I also thought it was a beautiful thing having two guys who could do so many things. I just thought we could’ve been used differently at times. I thought they could’ve put us on the floor together and it would’ve made for another dynamic. Now, I think I have an opportunity to play how I play and be me. I don’t have to second-guess things or wonder if I’m going to get back in the game in the fourth quarter or whatever. Now, I have the opportunity to make the most of my time on the floor. In Atlanta, after a while, I knew when I was coming out, what time I was coming out and in what situations I would come out.

Re: Teague spoke as really wanting the trade
Indiana better fork over that money come next summer, that's the main reason I was hoping for a Teague trade.
Conley just made the biggest contract in NBA history. I think Jeff comes out next summer looking for $20+ mil.
Could he give Indy a hometown discount? Maybe, but I don't think it'll be much of one considering the fact that he'll have just played out four years in an absolute bargain deal. He also doesn't have any property investments there as he'll be living with his parents this season.

Three things I expect to see regarding Teague over the next 12 months:
Jeff is about to have the season of his life.
He is getting $20+ million EASY next summer.
That Indy team is going to be hell.

Re: Teague spoke as really wanting the trade
Teague will be looking for a max contract after the upcoming season.
I hope he plays at an All-Star level for Indiana and handicaps them with a max after the season.
I've always liked Teague, I wish him nothing but the best, and it makes me happy that he's happy.
George is one of the best players in the league and also underrated by many. He has a nice core of talent surrounding him now and the Pacers will have a fantastic season if health's not an issue.
