Good for Luke. Splostra really likes him and he's a good player. Not sure why he fell out of our rotation

Okaro White is a good asset for the Hawks. He's injured but should be back sometime this season.
I asked what he's good at:
He is savvy for a young player, shoots well from distance, and plays with intensity. Last season (before his injury) he had key blocks. I love his effort.

OKARO WHITE
He's out with injury to his foot right now. Does he qualify for what we wanted? Yes, he does!
Young? Yep. Age of players went down, from 28 to 25.
Under used. Yep. For some reason, before the injury, he wasn't playing a lot.
Okaro White, welcome to Bud University! Here's hoping you do well........

Re: Babbit to Heat
The Miami Heat are welcoming back forward Luke Babbitt after acquiring him from the Atlanta Hawks today.
Babbitt signed with the Hawks last summer after a solid first season with the Heat in which he averaged 4.8 points and 41.8% 3-point FG in 68 games, 55 of them as a starter in which the Heat went 31-24 (as noted by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald).

Re: Babbit to Heat
I'll miss wide eyed Babbitt.
Heat didn't re-sign him and now they're trading for him. Maybe we can make it a yearly tradition to sign Babbitt and trade him to Miami. Kind of like how the Braves traded Kelly Johnson to the Mets every year.

Yeah, I hope this is something to do something and not just doing something because you can't do anything. Late deals always announced after deadline

They'll be happy come playoff time. Babbit is good. If you look at the Hawks top 5 most used 5 man lineups this one was by far the most effective this season (and the second most used at 70 minutes)

The kid started 55 games for MIA last season. You'd think he would have left a bigger impression on Heat fans considering he was on their team 10 months ago.

And led the team in 3 point shooting.
