Warriors officially clear Stephen Curry to play vs. Atlanta Hawks

The Warriors officially cleared Stephen Curry to play on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks, marking Curry’s first appearance since missing the past six games with an injured right ankle.

It is not immediately clear if Curry will have a minutes restriction. But the Warriors have stayed cautious with Curry, mindful that his health plays a significant factor in determining whether Golden State defends its NBA championship.

Curry will start in place of 23-year-old Quinn Cook, who has averaged 16.33 points on 50 percent shooting and 2.5 assists in 34.17 minutes per game during Curry’s absence. It appears likely Cook will play a significant backup point guard role, both because of his recent play and reserve guard Omri Casspi is listed as questionable after missing the past two games with a sprained right ankle.

Was worried early but glad we pulled out the L. We shouldn't have to worry about picking up another one of those against the Rockets in the next one.

Going 9/20 at the free throw stripe insured this win. That is NOT the way to do this... Left 11 points on the line and lost by 12.
While watching last night, this part of our game stuck out like a sore thumb. With our kiddie Hawk team, Atlanta gave the
short handed Warriors all they wanted. They had a great game plan and executed it well.

How good is this Hawk team right now? Check out the first half of this game. Review our previous game. We're good!
Oh, yeah. I know. We are far from great, which is where we want to be. But, we're gaining on it!

Check out our current roster. Some of these young kiddie Hawks can shoot. Speed\quickness they have in abundance.
Two or three first round picks and another pick at the opening of the second round in a draft that is said to be loaded.
This Hawk team is playing with 10 day contract players, some of which have been signed for the year and players who
were on two way contracts and were converted.

Speculation about the draft and free agency + any trades that might happen will keep our minds busy in the upcoming
summer months as we contemplate the re opening of our revamped home court next season.

Will we move up or down in the draft? Where will our first pick fall? Will we use all our draft picks? Who will be on
our roster next year from our current roster? Will there be trades? Buy outs? Will we be in the free agent market?
If so, who will we want to sign?

The "New Look" home of the Hawks next season will not be the only thing that has a "New Look."

So many questions. This will be a very exciting off season. Count on it.

Since our beloved Hawks are out of the playoffs, I gotta say - - - GO SIXERS !!

8-)

Maaaaannn...Can they lock you up in a Warriors drunk tank overnight if you weren’t really drunk...just hyphy?

Well, it’s nice to be back. I’m feeling like Steve McQueen after a week in the cooler in the Great Escape...refreshed and ready to go.

I wonder how long it would have taken before anybody here knew I went missing?..

Whoa, whoa, whoa ... wait a minute, you got locked up?! Do you need a character witness? If so, do not look to any HOU residents. :P

I'll be happy to represent you. What? Oh, no. I'm not a lawyer but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last nite.

Well, I did warn you to leave the gun after the world-class snipe job you pulled on Curry, I just didn't figure on the amount of canoli you'd have to carry out of there.

 I got some nice pics too...I actually got Bud holding his shoulder while grimacing. There was an annoying girl behind me...I initially thought it was a loud young boy....her and her dad would not stfu! I wish I coulda stuck a cannoli in her mouth. Her dad would yell... “ Comon guys lets not let them get into the paint.” Then she would yell..”We have to get a rebound.” (As they have already secured the rebound). They were giving the Warriors advice from 25 rows out...although with annoying girl, they could prolly hear her out to 50 rows.

All in all, fun night!
