Schlenk is now the man behind the Hawks. The only man. The deck is clear and it's his show from picking his coach to building his roster.
What we know:
TS started went from "we're not using the word rebuilding" to letting Bud go and setting the team up for a massive rebuild. He wants to work the draft to re-create the GS model. He took part in last years draft that brought in Collins and Dorsey, but he had just arrived and may not represent HIS vision. He has four beautiful, shinny picks at his disposition in the upcoming draft. He wants to keep cap space and his short-term FA / cap plan is to absorb bad salary for picks.
We have an idea of what he's looking for for coach.
He currently has Schro, Prince, Collins and Dorsey as a core with Bembry, Baze and maybe Moose and Dedmon. Oh and Plumlee.
So what's he gonna do with the draft? With the above players? What contracts will he absorb and when; pre-draft to move up? Post-draft to set up next years draft? What FAs might he sign this off-season?
I just like predictions and probibilities. We're early in a rebuild and it'll be interesting to see how these questions play out

So many questions. So few answers. Hopefully, the Hawks will soon have a new head coach and his staff
all signed and ready to go before the draft.
Then, there is the question, "Who stays and who leaves off the current roster?"
New arena, new head coach and how many new players will be on our opening roster?
How far along are we in our rebuild? How many awful years do they expect?
