Would y'all do:

to ORL: Dennis + 30th
to ATL: Biyombo + 6th

??

LA Clippers have back to back selections toward the end of the lottery (12 & 13).

I can't imagine a prospect with as much upside as Porter slipping past both those selections. They drafted another 6'10" forward with injury concerns years ago and he turned out pretty well for them.

Them getting possibly the most prolific scorer from a loaded draft at pick #13 would be the stuff of legend.

If we wanted to get back into the top 13 to grab Porter, it'd cost #19, probably the 2019 Cavs pick...and John Collins. That'd be comparable to what Utah paid last June to jump up to a similar spot and select Donovan Mitchell.

Since reports are that we are interested in Trae, and assuming we Doncic is gone by #3 or that Hawks are not interested in Doncic, we could trade whatever big we want + Trae and start anew.

Biyombo is terrible but has 1 fewer year remaining on contract that Dennis.

In a heartbeat.

We'd even throw in #34, a gift certificate to 'The Varsity' plus tickets to the 2019 Super Bowl.

In fact...we've already packed Dennis's bags. He's on his way to Central Florida.

No take backs.

I'm not even sure what fanbase you're referring to as 'we'...

but Hawks would jump at the chance to grab a second top-7 pick for anything on our current roster.

My question is why would Orlando do this. I'd add the Cleveland 2019/20 top 10 protected pick. I don't believe that pick will properly transfer tho :banghead:

I see Biyambo as arguably the worst player in the NBA. Much like my comrades in this thread, I'd not only do this trade but I'd throw in 34 or the protected Cavs pick.

As a Porter supporter and he's a guy that will go very high in the draft. 2nd or higher.
The young man had issues getting out of bed and yet his hip checked out fine? At what point do people call him out for possibly partying too much?

Blaming the body is easy at this point for the unknown.

1. I agree regarding the Cavs pick. That team would be insane to let it fall to 11-15 range.

2. I don't think Orlando would even consider the above deal. It massively overrates the appeal/value of Dennis.

If only other teams GM's could value Dennis as much as some fans..lol. I would agree with everyone else. I would do that in a heartbeat.

Anyone in agreement that DS needs to be moved on draft night?

The total reconstruction of our lineup is approaching soon.
