CBS SportsJohn Collins has been a blessing for the Hawks' defense -- a defense that was 26th in the NBA in defensive efficiency when Collins was injured the first month of the season has been middle of the road (17th in the NBA) since his return. All about building for the future for the Hawks; wins don't matter, except for when it comes to the 2019 draft lottery odds.

Collins is a stud... I just hope we don't give him the Horford treatment and exile him to 5 his whole career. The man reminds me of Shawn Kemp and that's how he should be trained.

Agreed on the Shawn Kemp comparison. Collins should be the focal point of the offense now that he has his legs back. I predicted that he would lead the Hawks in scoring and rebounding and he's well on his way despite the late start. Pierce needs to start his offense inside with Collins using the pick and roll, or with his back to the basket in the post. Chucking threes isn't working.

Agreed. Did anyone see Collins' Dirk like step back one legged fadeaway jumper from last game? That was nice.
I'll try and find video clip.
Edit: watch from 45 seconds in...
