So true. But, you must start somewhere. You didn't become a doctor over night. These baby Hawks also must learn.
And they will. Slowly but surely!!

:D :D

 Great analogy Gramps!

Yes. I did 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, and 3 of residency training before I could practice medicine on my own.

11 years.

So, you are willing to wait 11 years before this team is competitive again?

:D

In 11 years I will be 93 years old. Do you really believe the Hawks can win it all by then? If so, be sure to give them
an extra cheer for the old man!!

:nonono: :nonono: intentionally obtuse!

Intentionally obtuse?

Hell, I think I'm the only person that actually realizes the duration that it is going to take with the route the Hawks chose to go in. I'm the only one on here that actually understands that there will be a maturation process with these players. I've banged that drum that none of these rookies will make the kind of immediate impacts needed to win. The days when rookies were able to do that are long gone and will never be seen again.

Most of you seem to think that they will be able to flip a switch in a couple of years and compete once again.

You think that.
