Finally, Lin and Trae. Just let them play for awhile, LP. See what happens.

I cannot wait till Trae’s jumper gets right because he could have ended this game on multiple occasions

What was that shot by Young? That's not bad shot selection. More like I don't really care, why not.

Edit: Forgot to mention my bet on Hawks tonight. Easy money.

All I want to see is good ball. The Hawks have provided that these last couple weeks. It’s rare a Hall of Famer strengthens his case in a mentor role but that’s exactly what Vince is doing. He’s been awesome, especially instilling confidence that has led to a good close-game record.

Another 50+ boards with Dedmon out. Can’t love it enough.

The team is starting to catch John’s train, all you gotta do is help him keep it fueled up and go for the ride.

And Trae, my God, he seems like a totally different player from the first month of the season. I’m convinced he was hampered by something because he’s killing it now. His game is one of low-impact so his season-long durability and mental energy in the fourth quarter have been very good. It’s weird watching a PG of his size and strength get it done but these new “freedom of movement” rules were right on time for him to be drafted. He made a few read passes to the weak side that had the Cavs like “wtf.” I’m a huge Jason Kidd fan; Trae’s approach to distributing and seeing the floor is very similar. As long as he sets his feet on his threes (while not taking too many), gets to the line 4+ times, and keeps the TOs down he should have a winning performance. I can’t stress it enough, the superior defenders and off-ball players to Taurean help Trae exponentially. I don’t wanna see that guy anymore.

Let’s Go!

I like Prince, everybody knows that but Prince dont need a PG like Young. We need to look at moving him. We need to look for two way players. I want Reddish.

We gotta upgrade the 5 as well. I want a legit consistent threat at the 5

Great win tonight on a back to back. Both very difficult ways to win so our boys deserve a relaxing day off.

Ankle sprain. I could see maybe 2-3 games.

Shoutout to Collins for her another double double, and Trae for a near double with 21 and 9 also adding 3 boards and 2 treys for Trae. He made a super deep one again from about 30 feet out.

Vince has a veteran leadership type of game leading by example with a season high 21. Bembry made a couple of nice blocks and keeps bringing the defense which is rubbing off on other players.

One more thing..Poythress plays 16 min and scores an efficient 11 points on 5-7 including a three and 3 boards. What more does he have to do to earn time? I realize he may not be a big part of our future but the kid is giving effort and deserves some more burn.

Got the Pacers on Monday at 3pm est in Indy to finish 2018. Let’s get it to make it 6/7 to end the year on a good note.

GO HAWKS!!!

Ps Baze injury looked something other than an ankle. Glad it was just an ankle. Phew.

Porpoise won a rotation spot out of camp but got sidelined for awhile with the ankle. His minutes have blown back up since he was taken off the DND list though.

He looks like he’s a couple skills away from a regular rotational guy. Not necessarily for us but he can ball a bit. He’s making the most, good for him.

I’m out of the country for a bit and haven’t been able to watch the last few games (but I have been box score and highlight watching).

I had to jump in here to commend Collins and Trae for their excellent work lately. Trae is playing under control, facilitating and letting rn game come to him - he seems to be adapting to the speed of the nba as well. I have a feeling that he’ll lead the league in assists in 2-3 years.

Collins is just a beast. He’s had a double double in every game but one in December (when he had 29 and 9 in Brooklyn). He really deserves all star consideration this year but I’m afraid that he won’t get it because of the team’s poor record.
