I suspect this will further ensure Travis moves vets by this season's trade deadline.

That friggin sucks

The converse of this is actually really nice. If we finish in the middle of the lottery pack, we have a legit shot to jump into the top 4.

We seem likely to be locked in as bottom 5. Even with our recent winning ways.

We have won more so far than our underlying numbers would predict, although I think fundamentally our predicted results will keep improving since the return of Collins is a huge change from the dismal early season numbers.

So, at what point does Schlenk decide to take action and grenade this team? We all know there's a good chance that will happen. Even with the new Lottery odds, I figure Schlenk still prefers to be in the top(bottom) three to at least have a chance at #1. I don't see this Hawks team as a bottom three team as it is currently constructed.

Bulls- Derrick Rose
Suns- Ayton
Knicks- Ewing
Cavs- Lebron Kyrie Wiggins Bennett

Everyone has had the first overall pick between these teams in recent history besides the Hawks.

Zion a Hawk. It’s our turn.

Forty some odd games left. When we deal a few vets we might lose a few more. Still think we go bottom 3.

Being 5th only drops our chance for #1 by 3.5%. I'd take the increased odds and the better guaranteed pick of the top 3, but I don't think we should sacrifice much in an attempt to "achieve" that.
