So I rewatched the Heat game today and all the celebration of Wade’s accolades and career accomplishments were amazing! For a second there, I thought the game was in Miami.
Bottom line and this is because I’m old school. Why on earth are we throwing D Wade a party when he basically owned up for the last 15+ years. It’s like, hey Wade, we really appreciate you dominating us, now let’s throw you a party in honor of that in our house.
I’m all for acknowledging the guy had a great career but let’s not celebrate ANYBODY that wasn’t a Hawk in Atlanta ever again. I’m sorry if you’re a competitor in any way, this can’t be sitting well with you. If you’re just content with celebrating opposing players, I’m not sure what to tell ya. The Heat never had Nique night in 94.
Also, is Wade collecting jerseys? Lol. He seems to be doing this weekly for the last few years, whether it’s soccer or b-ball he just loves that swap shop.
Ps Cagey, what did your BIL owe
I didn't really like it so much. It's not like Wade is some great guy or anything. Google dirty wade plays and get the 10+minute youtube clip. Yeah it's like 10+ minutes of clips that last about 30 seconds each. Como se dice, not a small sample size.
Anyways ... I get it though, I guess. Whatever.
The jersey-swap thing is a new 'thing' in the league based off the old soccer thing I'm sure. There was a blurb about how Young asked for the swap pre-game and Wade agreed based on Young's relationship with one of his sons or stte.
And I haven't heard from the Heat-fan BIL lately. Not surprising since like 85% of our wins come against the Heat despite their league-high payroll and our tanking. Can't be a good feeling.
