Man, get the hell out of here. You came to troll

The only part you said that makes sense is the last statement. Screens and PnR is clearly what we should have did at the end.

drive means iso??

A lot of times, he kills isos as well. You aren't one of the leader in drives just off of screens in the NBA.

have not been nba.com stats for a while... they used to have play type stats, like isolation, % of plays out of a player, ranking percentile etc... I could not find it any more... if you can dig it out, i'd like to see Trae's iso stats, I'd be surprised if he ranks high in this category...
i know he drives a lot, a lot of them were off PnR situation... he did a good job with it with his smart and hesitation moves etc... but now we are talking one on one play, blowing by a defender to the rim... frankly he is not good at, he does not even have a cross over, pull up etc...
mark my words, he will never be a good iso player... and he should not go that direction at all

Not sure why you would be surprised. Just watch the games.

He just drives, PnR, hedges, iso. That's really his bread and butter especially when his shot was off. That's the main reason why he is offensively so dynamic. He is quick as s***. What he is going to have to add is strength. Teams like the Raps hold all damn day and run zone when they can't stop the dibble drive. Once Trae starts consistently getting calls, it's over offensively

You are stubborn for no reason. It makes no damn sense. Just watch the replay of the games on LP. :nonono: You will see Trae beating guys off of the dribble all game long without screens.

i guess we watched the same games, but have different observations or understanding of games... he is dynamic because he has great play making abilities and he is a pretty good PnR player... he is quick, but by NBA standard, not elite at it...

He has elite quickness and agility. He just isn't fast at all. I feel like I understand the game quite well. I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe just watch harder next time Image

Hawks get the much needed Lose and Suns get a Win!

Poor game by Trae on attempting 20 shots.

Collins looked like the best PF in the NBA tonight, 3 for 3 from three!!! but I wish he could get 1-2 blocks a a game like Josh use to.

Not even mad or dissapointed by the loss. They all played hard and looked gassed for it. The team is missing 3 starters more or less and it's alot of minutes to reproduce.

The team hasn't had all the pieces together healthy. If Prince comes back more aggressive other than jacking up any 3 pointer that comes his way, they may start winning too much.

If anyone is quicker than Trae with the ball in their hands it's not by much. He's gotten around just about anyone with ease. Leonard just happens to be a freak of nature and the best perimeter defender in the league.

:D

Sure we did! Missing three starters, this Hawk team played one of the better NBA teams to a stand still with less
than a minute remaining. Question: If Atlanta traded Baze and Prince, what would they look like? Answer: See
the last several games.

The best of both worlds: A very exciting, close game and maintaining our draft position. Woulda, coulda, shoulda
all come into play. Clean up the turnovers and another Hawk win. With maturity, experience, this improvement
comes and we win. Next season is already looking much better, isn't it.

This crop is still growing. Being raised on a farm, I can see where this is important for both the team and their
coaches. You just know that the harvest is going to be good before it happens. We can see greatness in this
Hawk team in the future, even as we face some stormy weather like this game, before we reach full maturity.

Don't know what the point spread was on this game, but it was closer that expected, wasn't it!

GO ATL HAWKS !!

Am I the only one developing a serious liking for Mr. Bembry? He's our version of Marcus Schmart. A keeper. Dude had like a 11, 5, 5, 6 game. Craziness.

This post nailed it for last night. Rooting for the Hawks to win in the moment but in the cool light of morning, it is hard to say a loss isn't better for us in the long-term. Competitank success for sure.

I started getting the Bembry fever about a month ago...it’s stuck with me as well. He’s our new age Dennis Rodman...ok fine that’s extreme. He’s a great tool all around for us. :)

Trae does have elite quickness. He’s not the fastest, but his dribble change of speed is as quick as anyone. He has gotten by everyone who supposed to be a good defender, his problem is finishing afterwards.

He’s got by Leonard last night as well, not the last play though.
