salivating over the thought of Trae’s jumper getting more consistent. he’s having magnificent games without it, but just imagine when those shots start falling more often.

The Magic Number is now 3 for kissing KB's 18 win prediction goodbye. Only 33 games to do it in, though, so I'm worried for the Hawks.

I know Huerter had a bad shooting night but .. the kid adds so much to flow of team

That sequence where he got a block, throws it to Bembry I think, then sprinted to other end, received a catch, and had one of his volleyball passes where the ball is in his hand for like a millisecond before he accurately fires it to a shooter in the corner who scores a 3 ptr

Trae just needs to stick to the game plan...He can get passed anyone in the league and create havoc in the lane every trip down. For some unknown reason, he rather not do it all of the time.

Good win!

Can someone confirm that Trae passed the ball to Taurean at the end of the game while the shot clock was expiring to avoid a TURNOVER! Sneaky lil bugger. He wanted to keep that 1 turnover, lol.

 ya he tried but I’m not sure Taurean got the turnover. Boxscore says Trae had a total of 1 turnover. Thats insane for the type of game he played.

The NBA stopped counting the intentional shot clock violation at the end of games as a turnover for the individual player with the ball in his hands. Instead it's counted as a "team turnover"

Clippers have no answer for the Hawks' young duo in 123-118 loss

On a mid-November night in Atlanta, the Clippers ran toward their locker room laughing at what had just taken place.

They had trailed by 15 points against an Atlanta Hawks team already far from contention, the youthful combination of rookie point guard Trae Young and second-year center John Collins causing the Clippers fits from the start.

Only a furious fourth-quarter rally saved the Clippers, and it was that comeback that left them giddy.

After their latest tangle with the Hawks on Monday night, the Clippers left the court at Staples Center with none of the same joy and their three-game winning streak ended.

“I thought they played harder,” coach Doc Rivers said. “I thought they came into the game with an intent to win the game. You could feel it. It was impressive to watch, honestly. They were deadly serious about winning this game."

The Hawks entered second in the league in points off paint touches and fifth in the league in three-point attempts per game, and the Clippers wanted to limit their opportunities in both areas.
