Why? We have Trae. Also, the BS that comes with him... PASS.

Where is that GTFO smilie? Anywhere? No.

Then, we politely disclaim any interest in Lonzo.

Just the bulls, other than that, no.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

He is impossible to fit with Trae, IMO. Can't shoot, needs the ball in his hands, can't defend wings... What is the appeal when Trae is the focal point of your offense?

It is less about the value of Lonzo in the abstract and more about fit since I don't think you can run a Trae / Ball backcourt. It is like evaluating two guys who can only play center. Why invest real assets towards acquiring a backup center when you already have a young stud as your starter and still need to fill a lot of positions on your roster?

Add in the fact that Lonzo is likely to reject a role as a backup (or look to walk as soon as he hits FA because he believes himself a start) and the instant drama machine that will be the Ball family watching their prize star spending most of the game sitting on the bench and that is a hard pass.

Agreed ...Ball is the least compatible back court mate imaginable for Trae. Lol!

Considering my 2 favorite players in the league are Trae and Lonzo you would think I would be all over this, but I'm not. As others have said, its a bad fit. Lonzo is a PG, Trae is a PG. They both need and want the ball to be effective.

On the other hand, if Lonzo gets dealt to the Bulls as rumored it will be as if that trade was made solely with me in mind :)

His rebounding and assist:turnover is too good to waste with a .488 efg. I don’t ever see him getting past injury, conditioning, and family issues to become a good starter. Especially when half of the front offices in the NBA aren’t in order, there’s a trickle down and the dysfunction shines brightly on the floor.
