Trae Young has been a pleasure to watch tonight. He has been creating and making his 3's! What a great night for Hawks basketball.

Straight up. Removing Cam from the starting unit was a great idea. I wish the hawks had a better center, Adams would be wonderful.

He didn't remove him from the starting lineup. He was always only holding Heurter's spot until he was ready. Give the kid kudos for answering the call even though he was clearly not ready to start.
Agree on Adams.

Re: Game Thread: Hawks @ Denver -- 11/12
Trae has the potential to just win you a game by himself. We haven't had a player like that since Joe Johnson, and Joe wasn't 21 when he was going off. This is must-see tv, and I can't wait to continue MVP chants down on Trae when our boys come back home from this road trip.
Jabari Parker is legitimately putting himself into the Most Improved Player race and has been a heck of a free agent signing. I hope we can possibly hold onto him come free agency, but if he plays himself out of our price range (we'll have the most money but maybe Schlenk isn't willing to go too much long term) then so be it.
Len looked like a different dude out there. He wasn't fumbling passes away, was finishing around the rim, and made the right reads defensively. If we're going to survive the rest of this John Collins suspension that's what we need to see from him on a more consistent basis.
If we can get one more win and finish this road trip at 2-3 I think we'd be in a good spot. With how difficult this schedule is early on, and especially without John, the early part of this season is all about survival.

I wonder if Parker continues his great play, which is very likely, if he will start over Collins once Collins returns. Jabari is avg 22 and 8 on high efficiency since JC's suspension and I think he might be a better fit in the starting lineup. While Collins is mostly a PNR player, Parker is a scorer. With the Hawks so heavily dependent on Trae going off it might be better to have Parker in the staring line up to decrease his burden and help with the scoring load.
Any way, the MIP race will be competitive with Parker, Wiggins, Malcolm Brogdan, Sabonis, and Alexander from OKC.

I completely agree, Cams is a long term project. He did the best he could do given the situation. It was just hard to watch Cams when it was obvious they are better with Huerter in there.

No!
1. Parker's defense isn't good enough.
2. What I think we'll see a lot to end games maybe small ball line ups with Collins at C, Parker at PF.
