I loved Trae going in to the draft, I am really happy he is showing how stupid people were for doubting him.
Any updates on Collins appeal? We heard Ayton's was being expedited 3 weeks ago and there hasn't been any updates.

Feel free to join in on the Suns game thread if you'd like...as long as both sides are civil....I'll do my best to make sure Suns fans stay that way if you do join. I only mention because I've noticed some of your game threads are only 2-3 pages so if there are only a handful here and want to have more conversation, and friendly trash talk is fine, feel free.

Might as well get ready for the clippers.

This could be the worst officiated game I've ever seen.

It's sad that the hawks are forced to start cams

Every offensive foul called on Damion Jones was the correct call. It was pretty hilarious to watch the Suns continue to take advantage of his total lack of BBIQ and court awareness. That said, Jones is easily our best option right now at starting center. At least he can get to the rim on PnR and finish his dunks. That's a plus.

Overheard in Phoenix this morning:

Suns again blow out inferior opponent, dominate Hawks at home

The Suns are proving they are for real by taking care of business against worse teams like the Hawks.[i]

After the Suns fell behind 19-10 to the Atlanta Hawks, they outscored them 118-93 behind great team play. Even though Ricky Rubio and Aron Baynes had off nights, it didn’t matter as Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Dario Saric produced strong outings.

Phoenix’s efficient offense continues to slice through defenses, nearing 50/40/90 shooting almost every game. On Thursday night, they were oh so close to doing it again. The pieces within the Suns’ roster ares starting to fit together, and head coach Monty Williams is taking advantage.

This game proved to be similar to the Suns’ win over Memphis earlier in the year. They proved once more they can easily take care of lottery-bound competition, another good sign of what’s to come.
Suns -- SB Nation

The Phoenix Suns dominated a game they were supposed to dominate

After that early stir-up, physics took over, and the cream rose to the top.

It has been a long time since anyone could refer to the Suns as the cream in this metaphor, but this year, it is entirely appropriately.

The Phoenix Suns went on a scoring frenzy that led to 36 and 37 points in the second and third quarters, respectively.

The Suns entered the game as an 8-point favorite, and they doubled that margin on their way to a smooth victory.

That, friends, is the sign of a good team.

Many Suns fans are looking for a reason why this early season success might prove to be fool’s gold down the road. They want to believe, but history has chiseled away the part of their brain that can store unbridled optimism.

These kinds of games help regenerate that part of the brain.

i wouldn't take too much away from those articles, i generally disagree with most everything coming out of that site regarding the suns, especially their hot takes and trade proposals. most of the Suns fans i know and read have a lot of respect for the Hawks and what they have done with their rebuild, i think Young, Collins, Huerter and now Hunter are the core of a really good team going forward and you even resurrected Lens career to the point he is finally becoming what Suns fans had hoped he would be.. i was in favor of keeping him at the time but most Suns fans weren't and wanted him gone.. Anyway, you have a very exciting young team and i see you as a top tier team in the pretty near future

Why is Red consistently jumping into the defender and not going straight up. I had noticed during the draft process he hardly leaves his feet on jumpers. Both he and Hunter are struggling finishing at the rim. Bright side is they seem to get there without much issue.

Parker is trying to get paid, would love to have him locked in for several more seasons off the bench. Missing Collins, and now Huerter they will struggle to keep it close.

Just to note, Len has been horrible the 1st 9 games (36 points) of the season as the starter. Coach Pierce moved him to the bench the past 2 games (38 points) and he's been a totally different player. Hopefully he keeps it ip.

ahh, yeah he was never all that consistent with us either, give glimpses of being something good then disappear for a week at a time, hopefully you all have found the key with him since he showed last night what he is capable of when he plays with energy and passion

the Bembry ejection i got he was taunting then wouldnt back away from the ref, but i hated both Reddish flagrants and thought they were just normal basketball plays, the NBA has gone way too far with this flagrant foul callling thing.

Agreed on both.
What annoyed me most was the 10 Offensive fouls - that was just ridiculous. Average last year in the entire NBA last season was 2.8, but Hawks get 10 in one game. Smh.
