Our wings (so everyone besides JC, Bruno, Goodwin, Len, and Jones) are averaging 9 for 43.

They are shooting around .200

Hopefully a top draft pick and all of your available cap for free agency turns this around in the offseason. Until then I don't see much of a way to right the ship...

At least there are a few pieces in place.

Only good thing that came from this is Collins reaffirming how legit he is. A healthy Trae could have easily added another 30pts and some assists to get others going and maybe we wouldn’t have lost.

Collins finally found out he good of a shotblocker he can be, I just need him to learn how to guard. Blocks are great but I rather they not even get the shot that close.

Speaking of defense, ours is infuriating to watch, especially when you know how good it can be. I’ve seen these guys in late game situations when we lose by a missed buzzer beater. Even half of that effort throughout the game would be welcomed.

Offensively...are there even any plays being drawn? It looks like a high school team out there.

My three takes from loss @Bulls:
1) Vince Carter at age 42 showed more passion for the game than half of Hawks roaster.
2) Bruno Fernando is not NBA ready. Big guys need more time to develop.
3) The Hawks didn't play a single drawn offensive possession, the whole evening was just like "go-there-and-get-some" type of basketball. I know your No.1 offensive player is missing a game, but common.

I know the Hawks can do better than that!

Lots-O-0fers and 1fers and 2fers in this one.  Lack of consistency and non-existent communication on both ends. Players trying to do too much beyond their skillsets, those with the skillsets taking a backseat.

Starters except Collins:

KH: 2-12
CR: 1-5
DH: 2-9
BF: 2-6

That's 18 TOTAL Points from 4 starters. 3 rookies and 1 2nd year player, I get that they are young players - but that's just B.R.U.T.A.L.

Trae and John are our 1-2 scorers, but I'mma need at least 1 of these wings to add at least 15 ppg with some consistancy.

Hunter may be hitting the proverbial rookie wall, he's playing quite a bit of minutes most games except when he has to sit with foul troble.

Thought Bruno was a hustle/energy guy. I guess he's too overwhelmed, and I think he's in his own head trying to play mistake free.

No other player hit more that 2 shots.

WHY CAN'T WE SHOOT??????

You'd think w/o Trae the defense would be better but not really. Too many young players mucking up the scheme. So many holes to fill before this team becomes competitive.

I'm not sure Huerter is the long term starter, or minimum you need a 2 guard that will push him. Just rebuild the center spot from the ground up. Not confident Schlenk can id big man talent thru the draft, and actually prefers free agency there, so we'll see. They really need to overhaul the entire bench and I don't know you can do that in one offseason.

So basically Trae and Collins are untouchable so far, and a few of these long term guys will be needed to be involved in trades to get them on track if making the playoffs is the goal next season.
