Honestly each of his good games have proven that he was misused at Duke. He’s not a spot up shooter, put the ball in his hands and let him get busy. I’m way more confident in him off the dribble.

Duke simply didn't have the personnel to play to everyone's strengths. They had to pick and choose.

Y’all see Young’s block on Murray? His new name is Trae Mutombo.

Got very tired of hearing the stat of not winning since 97, got that stupid monkey off their back. I have some praise and critiques for a few players...

Young - I thought he was struggling somewhat watching live, but man those numbers surprised me. Guy spits out 30 and 40 point games out like it's nothing. I felt Murray was giving him that work, which he was, but that block on a sure lay up was nice.

Hunter - I feel he's fishing for 3s more and more. He needs to keep penetrating to draw shooting fouls. Could have played hero ball for the win, but got a good pass off to Huerter.

Huerter - been killing it at 51% on 3s for the month. He still shoots too many 3s for my liking. The pump fake and drive for an easy lay up was a breath of fresh air. Huge shot for the game winner!

Cam - his defensive upside still impresses me. Offensive upside is up there too, but he will probably struggle more times than not finding consistency. He left 7-8 points off the table from not executing around the rim. He's huge for a perimeter player and needs to figure a way to finish or draw shooting fouls in the paint.

Collins - the most consistent guy on both ends of the floor. He needs to keep doing his thing while they find a suitable center.

Agree with everything, especially the part about Cam. I think if the jumpers continue to fall, he has the ability to attack closeouts and hopefully that’ll get him some easier looks at the rim. The whole jump-into-defender layup attempts aren’t my favorite thing to and from what I can tell, it’s making him more prone to blocks and offensive fouls. He just needs to get more creative down there. I remember his first breakout game vs BK he was pulling out all types of euro steps and whatnot, he needs to get those going again. Also it was nice to see a floater go down last night, more of those and he should be okay.
