I had others ahead of Onyeka, but I do like him a lot. I'm assuming this pick is to provide us a 3rd big off the bench and help keep Capela fresh. Insurance for if Collins is moved/no re-sign for sure. Maybe projecting Capela not lasting long. Regardless, can't wait to see what he offers at this level.

Good pick Hawks. Even if you have a lot of bigs. OO is a good one.

Dedmon will likely get moved sooner or later just a matter of time really. OO makes sense at his spot, don't be surprise if he develops the long range like Dedmon who couldn't shoot a lick at the same age. Hali is falling like a brick, he should get picked up soon.

I love Obi in NY next to RJ and M Robinson.

He's gonna be really productive.

This feels like a Cam Johnson level reach for PHX at #10. Good player, drafted waaaaaaaaaay too high.

Johnson is turning out really well. Took off after they moved him from the 3 to the 4.

Anyone find it funny that LaMelo didn't do an after draft interview? Lavar didn't look happy about going to the HorCats.

B+... Okong, Good pick for the Hawks. I have Jalen Smith as #1 on my board and i have Nesmith as a max player 5 years down the line (like Tyler Herro) but Okong still a great prospect. Okong could be a better version of Bam and ATL Horford. Kong could also be a good insurance policy if Collins has to be traded later on

Next question.... who do the Hawks get in the 2nd round and should the Hawks make any trade to move up from #50? Hawks should go PG in the 2nd round and one rule when selecting in the 2nd round, always draft juniors or seniors in the 2nd round or international players.

Heard a while back we are trying to get a higher 2nd than #50

I hope Cassius Winston falls to the Hawks. Payton Pritchard would also be good, i see some Herro in him.

Markus Howard would also be fun to watch backup Trae.

Good the Hawks took an upper classman but I don't like the Skylar pick but he is decent. I would have taken Cassius Winston. Skyler is a good shooter with zero athleticism. He is suppose to have a high IQ but i didn't really see much of it from the few LSU games that I watched the last two years.

By the way, I don’t know anything about Skylar, didn’t scout him. What’s he like? Just read some scouting things about being creative, making plays in difficult situations and being a combo tweener type.
