What’s readily apparent after this weekend is the Hawks made it clear to their rising star that they are ready to build a roster around him that can make the playoffs and make noise in the league. It remains to be seen if Atlanta can be a top-six seed in a front-loaded Eastern Conference with teams like Boston, Brooklyn, Miami, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Toronto and possibly Indiana, but the Hawks now have the depth to compete with those teams.

I’m a Hawks homer whatever but a couple things. With Trae I’m not scared of anyone and secondly I wouldn’t put a ceiling on us. Home court is within reach. I consider us a 3-5 seed. We may have one of the biggest turnarounds the league has ever seen given we stay healthy.

Going forward one of the main factors to our success will.depend on the teams chemistry. Go HAWKS!!
