First thing, despite some horrible plays, and very bad shots selection, they were in the game until the Milton show. This should never happen again.
Sixers are +15 with Milton in 14min, and only +1 for the 34min
Second point : we know that, most of the time, they are dominated when playing with Hill, and McMillan start him again ?
-18 in 8min, like a lot of regular season game. Thanks McMillan for this good choice.
Even if Snell is not in rhythm, it's the best 3pts shooter of the league, you can get better than Hill
Or start Huerter or anybody else.
Last : how is it possible to see Rivers crying because of few small contacts where ATL got FTs, and ask to be able to play playoffs defense, when on the opposite side, every small contact, and smaller, are called by the refs ?
Need to watch some actions again, and see if Scott Foster, after giving Chris Paul his 11th loss in a row in playoffs games, is not starting to kill another player chances

Yep.
If Hunter is out again, Huerter needs to get the start. It adds another ball handler on the floor, preventing Philly from over focusing on Trae. He also creates more space by effectively spacing the floor. Hill is adequate against other bench players but terrible against starting units.
I would also consider starting Gallinari in place of Embiid. He spaces the floor against Joel and prevents Capela from getting some of the early fouls he keeps picking up.
Capela would get to tango with a slightly worn down Embiid and then dominate Philly’s backups.

Yes to the end of the Solo starting experiment...start Huerter if Hunter is unable to go.
I don't think we panic move and start Gallo in lieu of Cap, what we can do is start Cap, just sub in Gallo sooner. So if Cap typically plays the 1st 6 minutes, make it 3 minutes.
We also need JC to step up, he had a similar G2 stinker vs the Knicks then bounced back at home, hopefully the same applies here.

One thing I saw with Capela's defense on Embiid : the best defense was when Embiid was on the 3pts line and Capela coming next to him but ready to step back. Embiid in this case doesn't take the 3pts but starts to attack the paint, and Capela taking a step back makes Embiid stop and try long 2s that he mostly miss.
I don't know if it's to much of a "guard play" for his big body, or if his knee is not ready for that, but he's not balanced well enough to hit these shots.
Capela has to do this every time starting from now.

When Lou was dribbling the ball up the court at the end of the 3rd I turned to my wife and said, "watch this idiot go way too early and leave enough time on the clock for the Sixers to score just like he always does." Sure enough, the moron shot too early and left over 4 seconds for Philly to get a good shot.
Don't understand how a vet can consistently be so dumb?

I've been calling for the end of Bozoman Hill for a very long time. He f-ing sucks. And he won't stop F-ING shooting every time he touches the F-ing ball! F him!

Re: Philly vs ATL: Game 2
The turning point of the game was when Trae threw that amazing lob to Capela right over Embiid and then Trae celebrated way too hard right in Embiid's face. Embiid clearly took his intensity to another level right after that and lit us up the rest of the game.
Pretty dumb move to poke the bear like that.

Right, I always thought it's kind of things you should only do playing at home, but never away. Or at least with players like Embiid if you're sure to win the game, but not before. He had the whole arena behind him so even more easy for him to play at higher intensity.

That’s why the kid drives me crazy. He’s Brash and arrogant to a fault.
This comes 2 seasons after calling game against Miami years ago, only to see Jimmy Butler and the boys come back to win it.
Calm down, young fella. Celebrate AFTER the game is won.

Or simpler, if he can't calm down and needs to show something, show something to motivate your teammates, but not the opponent team.
