The biggest mistake is to lead by 10pts with 2min left before the halftime and blow it. MIL acted exactly like you should, keep pressure on these last two minutes because after that, you get your biggest rest of the game, 15min of hafltime, it's way more than end of 1st or end of 3rd.
If they had kept MIL at 10pts behind at the half, it was a different story.
The second thing that I don't lile is that on lots if missed shots, it doesn't look like it's a hard defense, it looks like it's the hardest defense but they choose this bad shot, they don't play to get an extra pass.
Last thing, having one of Collins or Capela in foul trouble was once again... a trouble.
On the positive side, I liked the good defensive sequence of Okongwu on Giannis, the rookie has really some feel for it.
It's not the best moment to try a lot of thing, but as they used a big lineup with Capela-Collins-Gallo, I'm not against trying Capela-Okongwu-Collins, one 3pts shooter less, but one more athletic guy that Trae can feed
Regarding a more general point, I notice that when Trae goes to the rim, if he has space for his floater, no problem, but if the defense is better just before his floater, he ends up with a bad shot or a bad pass but never try a stop or change of direction.
This is a move he can add in the future, it's a bit something that Lou is able to do, and I think Young has enough speed to make it more efficient than Lou. Brakes and side-step a bit to create space. Maybe Chris Paul is a better example than Lou...
