We need this game. They don’t have PG13 or Kawhi, if we don’t get this today, trade meter raises even more.

Jent has seen some of the light. TLC and Solo starting is a slap in the face to the city. OO gets an easy double double sans foul trouble.

He got only 4 shots... can't be so much productive with that. But at least, it translated to him having the best Plus/Minus of the team with -1 (with Bogi at -2, but not hitting in the fourth quarter)
Okongwu is a keeper for sure, hope they don't trade this guy, he's perfect behind Clint and have potential to have the same impact later when Clint leaves.
When you see that ATL were -18 in 18min with Gallo... they could have been in the game without him. If there's always a bench player that cost us so much points, they can't win.
And Reddish injured after 3min played...

Better defensive effort but the offense stalled. Bogi was hot in 1st half with 15, but only 4 point in 2nd half. Collins with 9 points, Huerter with 11, OO with 9 points (but only 4 attempts) - that's just no enough.

This is the kind of loss that gets guys fired.
Nate has too many years under contract left to be let go. Travis has the trust of ownership on his side.
That means players and assistant coaches better not get too comfortable. Jobs are officially on the line.

Re: Game Thread: Hawks @ Clippers -- 1/9
I gotta be honest, if there was any game Lou was likely to drop 20+ points in, this Clippers game seems the most likely.
I’m disappointed for LW that Hawks coaches didn’t give even give a courtesy entrance to the game so he could get a standing ovation and proper send off from Clippers fans in his likely final game at LA.
That was a shortsighted, classless move.

Re: Game Thread: Hawks @ Clippers -- 1/9
Just finished watching the replay of this game.
Bogi and Trae only showed up. OO was solid per usual. Collins, Gallo, and Huerter all terrible. The Hawks need to change the defensive philosophy.
Ibaka could be at top of the key, make a 1-2 dribble feint, the entire defense would likely collapse the paint. The issue is the help defender is always giving a non aggressive/lazy show and gets burned with lackluster closeout for the 3 that opps aren't missing right now.
