I agree that Jalen has to developp and is a better project than Knox.
Now, this last night, it's not what make ATL get a L, and numbers confirms it: they were +3 in 24min with Johnson and +2 in 6min with Knox.
All the bench was good enough to fight with DET, and Trae too when playing with them.
It's the other starters being horrible that gave them this L

And what was this DET run? 23-0 if I'm not wrong. 23-0... :banghead:

I'm starting to think it's not when they get around 0.500 or something like that, but that they are just unable to defend on young guys, they played against young teams like they are 40 years old and the other 20.
OK, the lineup is always changing, and no John + no Gallo is a nightmare, but they really are playing like they don't want to be injured at all, not taking contact, not trying to create charges... I won't blame Hunter for that because he was brought back at least two times, maybe three times too much early in one year. More than him, I put the responsibilities on management for him, they made him afraid of contacts.

This off-season should be interesting. I don't see much help in fee agency unless we pursue low caliber veterans. A big trade seems to be the way to go depending on who becomes available.

I've always smelled a trade of Clint+John for Gobert could happen and that's why it was better the re-sign both, but I only see it as a possibility if UTA don't go further in playoffs than the previous seasons.
The way MIN play now, I don't see them moving KAT this summer as they have less expectation than UTA

My concern with Gobert is his contract because his contract begins to increase substantially. By the end of it he will be paid in the mid $40m range and he will be 33 years old.
