Kings front office is still brand new so I honestly have no idea what's going to happen.

In his introductory press conference Kings GM Monte McNair stressed he will prioritize "flexibility". Matching Bogdanovic doesn't feel like flexibility especially after he was unable to move Buddy. Then there is the Barnes contract as well.

Flexibility is probably not matching but who knows.

If we get Bogi can you imagine the closing lineups that we would have? The ft shooting lineups at the end of games. With all the shooting I don’t know how teams will be able to keep Trae out of the lane when we go small. They won’t be able to help off of anybody.

What do you mean by their cap being tied up even after the Kings match? I've seen this on Twitter as well and I'm not sure what that means.

I don’t get that either. I mean, I don’t think it would matter much because I think the frenzy is over and their won’t be a real rush to spend cap if they match, but I would like to understand.

This was the signature acquisition that Schlenk actually had said he was targeting--in his mid 20s and/or coming off a first contract, and someone who wasn't just a bench filler, but someone you'd genuinely anticipate to, at least, get starter's minutes, if not actually be the conventional choice to start.

No, not Gallo @ 32, nor Rondo @ 34. And Dunn, full of promise when he was first drafted, hasn't turned out to be starting material, or at least not yet.

Having said that, the acclaim and excitement for BogBog is mainly rooted in his trajectory, not so much what he's actually accomplished to-date.

But like probably most, I am indeed acclaiming him, and indeed excited.

Some nationally unknown negatives: Biggest concern you guys should have is Bogi has accumulated a lot of wear and tear from not taking summers off. A knee procedure or two has been the result. Playing overseas is super important to him.

This team has has everything but playoff experience together. Toronto lost a lot of depth, Milwaukee lost depth, Boston lost depth, Indiana has a new coach. Deepest team in the East. All the key players are under team control for at least the next 3 years. With Covid, anything is on the table in the East.
