Rather they just say that Zacc will be Zacc and that they believe in him and that he came into a great situation on the Hawks

I really didn't know anything about this guy, but lots more picks miss than people tend to give credit for. So if he's a really nice two way glue guy with really good size and length then that's a big win when sometimes teams have kind of choked in similar situations.

Idk what he'll end up being but my very lightly informed opinion is a like the pick, will be fun to see what he does.

Very good break down of Ris. They put him under the microscope

Trae is going to do two things to make life a lot easier for Ris; P&R for strong looks at the rim and setting him up for open threes

I could just say 12 / 5 / 2 / 1 to fill the stats question but context is more important. If he can get those numbers efficiently with good D in 25 or less minutes, I'm good for his rookie season. He has guys in front of him as offensive priorities

You're predicting that Zacc will be a frequent screener/roll man in PnR situations?

I'm thinking that we have a lot more guys capable of rolling / cutting to the rim:

CC / OO / JJ / DD / ZR / Gueye / Nance / Barlow...

Yeah I"m hoping that QS will use this to our advantage

Zaach doesn't need Trae to get him open looks because he can create his own shot. He needs touches and he will make things happen on his own. I don't expect Zaach to be a primary P&R player.

I need to see more leadership out of Trae. These young players need their point guard to be a leader.

Right, but I hope he will be a leader like Nash, and not Westbrook.
I'm tired of his 30/10 record he's chasing, at the cost of playing 40min per game for several games, and... be injured for weeks a bit later

If Trae is at 23-25pts and 12ast, it would certainly mean that he's a better leader than all the previous season.

I also hope that Quin don't ask Zacc to stay in the corner, and that he will use plays with other players moving when Zacc gets the ball, instead of just watching him shooting.
I'm pretty that he's a far better passer than people think (his low number was mainly due to the system he was playing in).

I'd like to see 21-22 Trae Young numbers. I expect him to go back yo 20fgs per game. 30/10 might be difficult to achieve unless he attempts more reasonable shots.

You're right about Zaac. I'd like to see him control the ball more because he's not just a spot up shooter.

Zacc says 'he has to just be in the right spots as a SHOOTING GUARD to get the Trae passes!

That is a much more appealing way forward than Zacc as a combo forward. His height/length allow him to potentially dominate guards at that position.

(I hope he backs up Bogi as a rookie.)
