Missing KP.

OO had 1 rebound vs Detroit tonight.

He's not a center nor does he want to be.

We needed KP on offense.
KP's rebounding is worse than OO on the season though.

Makes sense since OO averages a few minutes more per game. I doubt KP has only recorded 1 lonely rebound in a game this season.

Next up, OO will be ahopting from half court, and Luke will be inside attempting to grab boards.

.

Not 1, but 2 in the Chicago game - he's 7'-2".

OO still has him beat with two games with only 1 rebound and he averages more minutes.

Can't rely on Part time Porzingis.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

You guys really seemed to think that KP was going to play as many games as possible.

Until we have a player that's capable of being the starting 5 it won't make sense to move KP. This team is winning games. Hawks fans want to see if Trae makes us better when he returns.

If he becomes available I expect many teams to be interested.

Na. No one thought that.
Most fans expected him to miss games for injury management to save his knees, back to backs etc.
I don't think anyone accounted for the number of 'illnesses' games missed, most likely due to his POTS.

If he is moved I think we will have many options.

This season will continue to be interesting.

OKC is one team that could be an option. I think they still need depth at the 5 no matter how many people disagree with me on the General Board.

This is fine. Kristap is a 30yr old vet with a long injury history. Hawks knew what they were getting into when they made the trade.

There needs to be a center that we can rely on. We knew qhat to expect from KP, but we don't have an inside presence, because OO has the ability to be all over. He doesn't seem to want to be the inside guy as often as the team needs.

KP is expected to be ready to go in the playoffs and 40%-50% of the time in the regular season. Shopping him won't be wise unless we have a replacement. Quin needs to use the rook Asa more because he will play close to the basket.

...which is exactly why Kristaps did not receive an extension offer before the season.
