P.J. Tucker has reportedly declined the player option on his contract worth $7.4 million and will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Tucker is 36 years old, so this might be one of the last times in his career that he'll be able to lock up a multi-year deal for more than the minimum. He's still capable of serving an NBA team, but he's past his days of relevancy in fantasy hoops.

Finally getting some clarity on why K Atkinson turned down the job?

...the Hornets have been intent on retaining a large portion of the staff—many of whom have one full season of guaranteed salary remaining on their deals—from previous head coach James Borrego, sources said. Before Atkinson put pen to paper on his contract, he and the Hornets were unable to come to financial agreements for his new assistants, sources said. Charlotte is known to be among the league's bottom five teams in coaching staff salary.Re: Around the League News and Rumors (Non-Hawks) Part 2

Kenny made the right decision. Depending on Steve Kerr's plans I expect him to be the next Golden State Warriors coach if he can be patient. However, Kerr can probably let him know his future plans.Jamaaliver wrote:HMFFL wrote:Kenny Atkinson has informed the Charlotte Hornets that he won't become the franchise's new coach and will remain with the Golden State Warriors as the top assistant, sources told ESPN on Saturday.

Very bad owner too.Jamaaliver wrote:

That Kareem tweet reminds me of the stat on Hank Aaron taking away all of his 755 hr's, he'd still have 3000 hits.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Matt Williams: Assuming Ish Smith plays 1 game in Denver, he would set the record for most franchises played with in NBA history at 13.

Marc Stein: Denver’s Nikola Jokic, Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns and Memphis’ Ja Morant are all expected to verbally seal mammoth contract extensions soon after 6 PM ET tonight … for those tracking notable sidebars to the Kevin Durant Requests A Trade blockbuster.

Kevin Durant...
Hawks could offer... Collins, Kong, Hunter, Huerter, AJ
Lakers... AD, Westbrook
Suns... Ayton, Bridges, Johnson
Boston... Brown, Williams, Pritchard
Warriors... Poole, Wiseman, Wiggins, Kuminga
Hawks might not make the best offer but i think they can be in the top 3 when it comes to packages they can offer for KD
